The Method

The studio, The method, The teachers

We are a small collective of teachers who all originally trained with Anne-Marie Zulkahari and accredited through the Pilates Foundation, which has one of the longest, most comprehensive training programmes in the world. Because of this, we share a similar philosophy to teaching, even though our individual styles may differ

Fully accredited teachers

All teachers are fully accredited through the Pilates Foundation in both mat and equipment Pilates

Individual approach

Each teacher has their own individual style and approach so you'll be able to find a good fit with one of us.

Fully equipped studio

The studio is equipped with the three pieces of equipment originally designed by Joseph Pilates's  - Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda chair plus the wall unit, ladder barrel and many other small pieces of equipment.

Client focused

Each session lasts 1h15min and is generally conducted at a 1 Teacher: 3 Client ratio. This allows everyone to receive plenty of individual attention and to work at their own pace.

The studio is comfortable and spacious with all the key Pilates equipment. The teaching is of such a high level with experienced teachers who have knowledge over many years. They understand the issues of each client and remain focused on them all, pushing them to achieve more and challenge themselves each week.

BELIEVING

About Us

Most of us are extremely experienced, having now been teaching for close to 20 years, so we can probably  handle anything you need to bring to us, from rehabbing you after surgery, to building you up for your next marathon. We all also have our network of physiotherapists, osteopaths and other body practitioners we can call on to help support your body in the best possible way.

As our studio is fully equipped we are able to simultaneously support and strengthen parts of the body in greater isolation than would be possible using floor work and body-resistance alone. They're also just a lot of fun to work with!

Because sessions are by appointment only, we can properly target your body's very individual requirements. None of us has the same structure, so why should you be doing the same exercises as anyone else?
